Serve email updates

Our email list is invitation-only. Request an invitation to receive Serve updates and tell us a little about yourself and why you would like to receive them. We review requests before adding anyone.

Email communications and privacy

Serve Communications is Serve International’s private email tool, used only by authorized staff to send approved ministry communications. Our mailing list is invitation-only and requires consent.

With the account holder’s permission, the tool accesses the connected Google account’s identity and sends email through Gmail. If the account holder separately authorizes inbox access, the tool reads incoming messages to identify replies and delivery notices related to Serve newsletters; only matched messages are retained in newsletter records. Authorized staff and their AI assistants may review these records. We store account authorization, recipient details, email content, matched replies and delivery notices, and sending records to operate the service and maintain accountability. Access is restricted to authorized personnel and service providers supporting these functions. Google account data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train general-purpose AI models.

Newsletter website links may use random tracking codes to record link visits and help improve communications. Serve privately associates these codes with the newsletter and recipient. Automated scanners and forwarded emails can affect counts, so a visit does not prove that a particular person read an email. We do not use open-tracking pixels.

To unsubscribe from Serve newsletters, use our unsubscribe page. We will email you a confirmation link; your subscription stays active until you open the link and confirm. For privacy questions or requests to delete personal information, contact [email protected]. Records necessary for legal obligations or honoring unsubscribe requests may be retained.

Use of the tool is restricted to authorized Serve International personnel for approved ministry purposes. Its use of Google API information follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
